How we do it

Gathering the facts is a crucial starting point. The information that you provide will help us to understand your situation and your requirements and allow us to decide together what if anything is to be done. This first meeting is always free of charge and without obligation on either side.

Assuming we agree to work together, we shall then write to confirm any proposed work, as well as its cost and the method of payment you have agreed. Once these formalities are done we shall aim to complete the work, usually within two weeks of having all necessary information from third parties.

Our recommendations always take account of solutions available from the whole market so you can be sure that we are not biased towards any particular investments or product providers. Our advice will state the benefits, risks and costs associated with implementing it and will always match your tolerance to risk to your need for creating wealth and providing income. Where appropriate and by agreement we sometimes take advice on specific matters from other professionals. But this is not the end of the story. Meeting and communicating regularly thereafter, is crucial to ensuring that your financial plans remain on track and that you have not been disadvantaged by changing legislation. We will regularly review the performance of your investments and provide timely commentaries on the stock markets and legislation to keep you fully informed, although we promise not to bombard you with unnecessary communications. Or, you may simply require independent advice about a particular aspect of your financial life such as a pension or investment. We can do that too.
